NCD Wind Power Division and NCD Service
The NCD Group is a holding company with several divisions, including the Wind Division, which deals with the production of energy from renewable sources, and NCD Service, which provides customers with maintenance services for plant and machinery. The NCD Group's staff is made up of experienced and well-trained technicians who are always on hand to meet customers' needs.
NCD Wind Division
NCD Divisione Eolica S.r.l. initially had only two three-blade wind turbines installed in April 1998, drawing exclusively on the shareholders' own financial resources and locating the blades on land owned by the shareholder AV, which over the years has purchased agricultural land to be used for both agricultural cultivation and the production of energy from renewable sources.
Subsequently, a second wind farm was built in the locality of 'Apicella' in the municipality of Castelnuovo della Daunia (FG). The new plant consists of a further four three-blade wind turbines, for a total installed capacity of 3.84 MW.
NCD Divisione Eolica is in charge of consultancy and planning, as well as the authorisation process, in order to obtain the necessary "Autorizzazione Unica" (Single Authorisation) pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 387/2003 and subsequent reference regulations.
Currently, the company employs staff for the direct operation/maintenance of its wind farms.
NCD Divisione Eolica S.r.l., in view of its vast experience in the field of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, offers its skills, its means and its highly specialised personnel to carry out maintenance work on third-party wind farms on request.
In addition, the company has also undertaken the design, consultancy, construction, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems.
NCD Wind Division wind farms in Italy
NCD Wind Energy Division is very concerned about the environment and the development of renewable energy sources. Its aim is to continue its efforts in this sector, which is of vital importance for the preservation of the ecosystem.
From the point of view of environmental protection, the construction of the wind farms and photovoltaic plants will save a lot of oil, which will reduce carbon dioxide emissions over time.
NCD Service
In addition to the wind power division there is NCD Service, the division of NCD Group in Castelnuovo della Daunia that deals with maintenance activities to ensure the full operation and maintain the efficiency of machines and plants.
NCD Service's maintenance activities are aimed not only at keeping machines and systems in full working order but also at ensuring the safety of workers and people, avoiding breakdowns and hazards in the workplace.
NCD Service works with specialised technicians offering inspection, testing, measuring, replacement, adjustment, repair, parts replacement, tuning and cleaning services.
